Azizi Donnelly

Biography

Azizi Donnelly is an Australian-born Lebanese/Irish actress and filmmaker. At eighteen, she moved from Sydney to the United States after being signed by Ford Models, launching an international modeling career before transitioning into acting.

Donnelly will next star in an Untitled Warner Bros. feature film (Christmas 2026), leading the cast in a femme fatale role opposite Andrew Koji, Madeline McGraw, and Violet McGraw. She will also star in the original stage production WHEN THE WATER DIES, premiering at the Santa Monica Playhouse, and star in the short film ANIMAL LOVERS opposite Jake Short.

She first gained international attention with her series regular role in the Australian drama LADIES IN BLACK alongside Debbie Mazar, Miranda Otto, and Jessica De Gouw; a performance that led Vogue Australia to name her “one to watch.” Her film credits include a featured role in Damien Chazelle’s Academy Award–nominated film BABYLON, a lead role in the Lifetime thriller SECRET SOCIETY OF LIES, and the award-winning short film CONTRARIETY, directed by Sebastiano Pigazzi and Natalie Shinnick.

Beyond acting, Donnelly is an emerging filmmaker. She wrote and produced the short film TIN FOIL and is currently in pre-production on her first feature.

Donnelly also recently performed in — and helped produce — a staged table reading for writer/director Paul Brown (Quantum Leap, The X-Files, Camp Rock) for his latest project in development, THE SECRET PLAY.
