Carla Quevedo

Biography

Carla most recently can be seen playing the lead in MONZON, a DISNEY MEDIA DISTRIBUTION and PAMPA FILMS production which originally aired in Argentina, getting her rave reviews and awards buzz, and which will have an international release through NETFLIX worldwide in late October 2019. She also starred in HBO original Latino series EL HIPNOTIZADOR and TNT’s original series EL MAESTRO. 

Prior to that she starred in the Paul Haggis and David Simon HBO mini-series SHOW ME A HERO, opposite Oscar Isaac. She's starred opposite Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson and Leslie Man in studio films like How to Be Single (New Line Cinema) and has also shined in critically acclaimed films like Youth In Oregon opposite Frank Langela, Billy Crudup and Christina Applegate. She began her acting career as the lead in Juan Jose Campanella's THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES, which went on to win the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film for Argentina. In 2013, she rejoined Campanella as the lead in his staged production of PARQUE LEZAMA. 

When she is not acting, Carla writes poetry. Actually, she writes all the time. She recently published her first book called “I GOT IN A HEATED ARGUMENT WITH THE SPA MANAGER” which sold out within the first month in her home country, Argentina.
