DOUGLAS SMITH can most recently be seen in Olivia Wilde's DON'T WORRY DARLING for New Line, opposite Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Kiki Layne, and Olivia Wilde. His other recent work includes the recurring role of ‘Tyson Conway’ on CBS’ ‘Silence Of The Lambs’ Sequel Series, CLARICE. Douglas will have a number of films coming out this year, having recently wrapped leading roles in indie films EXPOSURE, CIVIL, MILLION DOLLAR BET, as well as THE SWEARING JAR which premiered at TIFF in 2022. Additionally, he just wrapped Atom Egoyan’s upcoming concert-film hybrid SEVEN VEILS opposite Amanda Seyfried, along with Kevin Costner’s Western epic HORIZON. He also recently finished shooting the post-apocalyptic feature film DIE ALONE in which he stars opposite Carrie-Anne Moss and Frank Grillo.
Douglas past work includes the role of ‘Marcus Isaacson’ on the critically acclaimed and Emmy award winning TNT series THE ALIENIST (link included below), alongside Daniel Bruhl, Luke Evans and Dakota Fanning. He also appeared in Season Two of the multi-award-winning HBO limited series BIG LITTLE LIES (link below). His other television credits include HBO’s VINYL, for producers Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger as well as HBO’s award-winning series BIG LOVE, in which he memorably starred as ‘Ben Henrickson’, Bill Paxton’s son.
DOUGLAS’ previous film credits include STX’s BYEBYEMAN, MISS SLOANE opposite Jessica Chastain for director John Madden, Paramount’s TERMINATOR GENISYS, opposite Emilia Clarke for director Alan Taylor, the hit Universal feature OUIJA, produced by Michael Bay and Blumhouse, the Fox franchise PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS, opposite Logan Lerman, and Brandon Cronenberg’s ANTIVIRAL. On stage, he also received rave reviews for his performance in the Obie award-winning Off-Broadway play PUNK ROCK for director Trip Cullman.
