Jillian Shea Spaeder

Biography

Jillian Shea Spaeder is rapidly emerging as one of the most dynamic and influential voices of her generation. A multi-hyphenate talent—actor, writer, producer, and singer-songwriter—Jillian uses her platforms to champion representation, spark social change, and connect authentically with young audiences.

Her debut independent feature, the queer buddy comedy SAVING BUDDY CHARLES, which Jillian wrote, produced, and stars in, sold to Tubi and is now available to stream for free as the latest feature from the streamer’s Creator Showcase initiative. The film is inspired by the real-life friendship between Jillian and director Grace Wethor, and draws on the latter’s experience as a brain cancer survivor.

Jillian is best known for her lead role as Bailey on the hit Disney XD series WALK THE PRANK, and for starring alongside Jillian Bell and Isla Fisher in the Disney+ original film GODMOTHERED, in which she performed two original songs on the soundtrack: “Rise Up (Joy to the World)” and “Hero.”

As a filmmaker, Jillian wrote, produced, and starred in THE NOISE, a short film bringing awareness to mental health and eating disorders based on Jillian’s personal experience. The film premiered at the Gasparilla International Film Festival, screened at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, and has since garnered over half a million views on YouTube. She is now developing it into a feature.

As a musician, Jillian performs under the name Jillian Shea. A gifted singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, she began playing piano at age five and picked up the guitar at twelve. Her debut EP, Fall at My Feet, is available on Spotify and reflects her passion for crafting intimate, lyrically rich original songs and music videos.

Jillian is also a novelist, having completed four manuscripts. Her debut novel is currently in development and is slated for release later this year.

At just 23, Jillian’s work spans screen, stage, studio, and page—and her impact extends far beyond. With a social media following of over 1.5 million, she continues to inspire a generation by staying true to herself and the stories she tells.
