Biography

Kevin Spies is a comedian, character performer, and content creator known across platforms as @GrillGuy. A former teacher and high school basketball coach, Kevin launched his internet career in 2021 and quickly built a following around relatable, character-driven comedy centering around his takes on sports, marriage, kids, and the millennial experience. 

Kevin has appeared alongside Jimmy Fallon on NBC's The Tonight Show and will next star in his debut feature film, premiering on the festival circuit in late 2026.

He has established himself as a sought-after on-camera talent for both digital and traditional advertising. His brand content work includes campaigns for McDonald's, Bubba Burgers, and the NBA on NBC, and he has starred in national TV commercials for Icon, Chocolate.com, and the Crossplay app. 

On the long-form side, Kevin hosts Hogs and Dogs, a YouTube road trip series in which he travels the country on the back of his Harley-Davidson hog, hunting down the best hot dogs, street food, and hidden gems across the US.

Kevin also co-hosts The Bench Seat podcast alongside NBA player Georges Niang.
