Biography
Mykelti Williamson is a distinguished director and actor with a career spanning several decades in film and television. His recent directing work includes episodes of the acclaimed series SWEET MAGNOLIAS and the TV movie SPRING BREAKTHROUGH, showcasing his talent for crafting compelling narratives and visuals. Williamson’s directorial credits also feature the short film JENNIFER, which he both directed and wrote. His expertise is further highlighted by his contributions to CHICAGO MED and his work on FBI and CHICAGO P.D., where he also portrayed the character, Denny Woods. His earlier directorial work on THE NEW WKRP IN CINCINNATI further established his industry presence.
